I can't open the game. I purchased it, downloaded and unzipped the Mac version, but when I click on the icon it says "The application can't be opened". Please help!
Hello. I purchased this on steam and having a problem with the invitation now. I click accept on the rendezvous invites but it does not save, and I'm now losing favor with these characters.
I'm not able to accept the rendezvous invitation for Louise, even after discovering the location before the day of the rendezvous. I thought maybe I'd just have to go to that location the day of since it wasn't allowing me to accept the invitation, but the location isn't even on the map for the day of the rendezvous ...
Hello, I did what was suggested, downloaded thru the itch.io app and it launched perfectly, but the issue that I am now having is that everything is blank and the sounds are not working
This game is SO MUCH FUN!!!! My friends and I have been nonstop playing it for days. Ludovico is my love-ovico. I've encountered a couple of bugs in my playthroughs, but nothing gamebreaking and one of them (I can't seem to move Ludovico's decision towards the Revolution, only push him closer to the Crown) might just be me failing the checks.
10/10 would go through the French revolution for love again, and I WILL
Historical fiction VN are probably my favorite types of VN, and Ambition: A Minuet in Power is the best of the genre that I've played. I did two playthroughs and I'll do a third soon. I love how evident the repercussions of our choices are and high the "replayability" factor is. Romancing all the different factions is also very fun and seeing all the epilogues. 5/5 for sure! I highly recommend.
While we're working on a more permanent fix for the Mac versions, it appears that people using the itch.io app do not suffer this issue with the file being damaged. Thanks for your patience.

Hi there! A fix for the Mac version has just been uploaded today. Try downloading a fresh install of the game and this should resolve the issue.

Right now, there are no plans for a mobile version of the game, but we're currently working on a port for the Nintendo Switch!
I played this game when it was in it's first demo stage, and it's awesome seeing it grow. I feel like I'm witnessing history.
